Who you are dealing with

Orders and acceptance

An order placed through this site is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation. Until then we may decline an order — for example if an item is unavailable, if a price has been listed in error, or if we cannot deliver to the address given.

If we cancel an accepted order because the goods turn out to be unavailable, we refund you in full.

Prices

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately before you pay.

Prices may change. The price that applies to your order is the one shown at the moment we confirm it. Where an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price we will contact you before proceeding, rather than silently cancelling.

Custom and personalised orders

Custom projects, monogramming, printed sleeves and any bespoke work are made to your brief. Because they cannot be resold, personalised items are not returnable unless faulty or different from the approved specification. We always send an approval before production begins.

Custom projects are quoted separately and may require an advance. Timelines are agreed in writing per project.

Corporate and bulk orders

Bulk orders may be subject to separate terms covering lead time, artwork approval, payment schedule and cancellation. Where those terms conflict with these, the signed order form takes precedence.

Natural variation

Many of our items are handmade or use natural materials — wood, leather, marble, brass. Grain, colour and finish vary between pieces. Photographs show a representative item, not the exact one you will receive. This variation is not a defect.

Delivery, cancellations and returns

Delivery timelines, charges, cancellation and return rights are set out in our shipping and returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The Evora and Vivaah names, our photography, copy, packaging designs and this website belong to us. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission. Where you supply a logo or artwork for a corporate order, you confirm you have the right to use it and you permit us to reproduce it for that order.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for business losses, loss of profit or loss of opportunity.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, strikes, natural events or government action. Where such an event occurs we will contact you and either agree a new date or cancel and refund.

Grievance officer

Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, complaints may be addressed to our grievance officer: Shivansh Batra, shivanshbatra@evoragifting.in, +91 87967 53623. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at New Delhi.
